Smiles all round with Bram & Christine

It finally stopped raining during August, and Christine and Bram were the lucky clients to be out in some sunshine for perfect evening conditions.

It had been a good while since Bram had last cast a fly, but he was back with a bang throwing out some lovely loops over the top of rising fish.

They were in a canny mood and tail slapping a lot of flies, but it was great fun missing a good half a dozen aggressive hits on the surface before the first was landed. Big smiles all round for the first Scottish brownie, and finally getting one after they were being tricky!

Another couple of fish followed, with some beautiful healthy fish.

And a healthy bend in the rod for Christine on this one too! We couldn't have been in a more perfect spot, a warm evening after rain, with a gentle ripple coming towards us.
