Saltwater 2025 Roundup

I have just finished writing the freshwater roundup, so I may as well do a quick saltwater one!

We mostly lure fished this year in the sea, but it did kick off with a cracking ling from Loch Etive

It wasn't long before I was into my first decent pollack of the year though!

It also didn't take long before the clients were onto them too!

The sea trout fishing was great in spring, hoping for some more trips for them in 2026

We had some monster pollack at our usual hunting grounds this year, with some stunning summer evenings

A wee trip down south during summer saw us on the smoothhounds and bass

I bought myself a wee boat, which was great fun for visiting nearby islands!

Lots of smiles this year for chunky Etive pollack.......
